Kanpur incident: UP Deputy CM vows strict action irrespective of the post of perpetrators

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak on February 14 said that strict action will be taken against the perpetrators of the Kanpur anti-encroachment drive incident. He said that action will be taken irrespective of whether they are administrative officers or police officers.
“We have talked to the officials. We will not spare any culprit, be it administrative officers or police officers. Strict action will be taken against those who have done such work by visiting slums in Kanpur. The report of the inquiry committee will be received today,” said Brajesh Pathak.
