UNM.NU 1st Place DraftKings Showdown University Mercy New Money One Hundred Twenty Two 122 Day Sober

Hello, and welcome to another video from your University of New Money / University of New Mercy. Today is Day 122 of me being sober. Boy, was Day 121 one for the ages! The morning started thinking of my special friend from Washington D.C. (well, she's from Albuquerque, but she lives in D.C., although she gets to do extended visits here, which is great! I expect many more visits now that she became an Aunt during this trip!) It was her dad's birthday, he's a really cool guy, their family hung out, a baby was born recently, so everyone is excited over there, I'm so happy for them! Then, my mom and stepdad went to Phoenix / Scottsdale for the NASCAR Championship 500 this weekend, very exciting, go Chase Elliott! For lunch, they went to Romano's Macaroni Grill: I had given my mom a gift card for $50, then the restaurant went out of business here in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but what do you know, Phoenix still has one, so they had an enjoyable lunch! They then went to their first NBA game, seeing the Phoenix Suns beat the Houston Rockets in a high scoring, exciting game, nice game from Devin Booker and company! My night ended in the craziest way possible: I knew I had a decent lineup at DraftKings for the Showdown slate between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers, but what do you know, I ended up in a tie for 1st place, winning a little over $14,000 for the night! Thank you to Anthony Davis, who was a monster captain tonight despite a thumb injury suffered before halftime. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander SGA outperformed Russell Westbrook, which was my huge stand for the night, mostly due to the expected ownership going to Westbrook, that move paid off nicely! Josh Giddey, Carmelo Anthony, Luguentz Lu Dort, and Kenrich Williams rounded out my winning lineup, it was nice to tie theWhistlesGoWooo and hishboo for 1st place in the NBA Showdown $100K Fadeaway [$25K to 1st] (OKC vs LAL), especially with only one bullet (one lineup / single entry into the tournament). Time to kick back and enjoy this victory? No (well, yes, I am enjoying it, this is my biggest win at DraftKings, DFS, and fantasy sports in general, my biggest win since $10,000 Christmas Day 2018 playing the NBA 2 game night slate), it is time to get ready for a fun 9 game Friday, November 5, 2021 NBA slate, but that Thursday, November 4, 2021, that is a day I'll never forget, 122 days strong sober and counting, many more to come, hope you all have a great weekend, take care and God Bless!
