ATRC Webinar Diverse Perspectives on Student Safety Needs Considerations for Safe Routes to School

This webinar explores variations on the theme of student safety. Attendees will hear from a select panel of program specialists, all of whom are invested in keeping young people emotionally and physically safe as many return to in-person instruction after a period of prolonged challenge and uncertainty due to the covid-19 pandemic and its impacts on typical student life. Attendees will learn about trauma-informed approaches to student-focused programming, receive an overview of California's Safe Schools for All/Covid-19 HUB, and consider ideas from one of the nation’s premier highway safety research centers on how law enforcement organizations can support pedestrian and bicyclist safety in collaboration with other SRTS and active transportation partners.
